is it ever gonna be the same?

i wrote a general psa that skewed on the passive-aggressive side but decided against posting it.  no sense in complaining about what is apparent and beyond my control. move on.

with that said, i actually wrote some kind letters this week.  i'm a pro at the unsent kind - those can be honest and brutal, if need be.  these were tougher to brainstorm for initially, but i did find that each letter became easier and easier to write.

making conversation in long form is a lost art.  christa sent me a letter while she was working on the farm last summer and it really got me thinking... when was the last time i sent a letter?  moreover, when did i actually write to anyone to recap the minutiae of life and the "big picture" thoughts?  too effin long ago, that's when.

so i picked 4 of the nearest and dearest and scribed them something thoughtful:  jill and chris, nonna, aunt jean, and christa.   it took me longer than the whole week to get through them all.  half were stuck in the mailbox on monday morning and the rest... eh, we'll get to those.  the last two weeks have been insane-o busy.  i am rewarding myself with makeup (because i can, honestly).

this week:  i might not find the time to do anything at all, but if i do, i plan to make a magazine bowl. what's that, you say?  only pretty damn cool.
